This course is for people new to Pilates, who wish to have a safe, thorough grounding in the technique. It is suitable for those who wish to strengthen the core, tone, develop flexibility and improve posture, including those recommended by physiotherapists to practice Pilates. The fundamentals of Pilates are introduced through a range of simple exercises, allowing confident progression to Level 3.
Katherine McKenzie
Katherine is a Pilates Foundation UK trained teacher with five years teaching experience. She first came across Pilates while studying dance. After working in backstage theatre, Katherine rediscovered Pilates in Derby, which helped her regain her strength and confidence after recovering from illness.
